I thought i'd write something about this magazine i bought last Saturday. I thought it was the most inspiring Wallpaper* issue ever! It focuses on nothing else, but design in China! That's why.. It's one of those magazines that make me savour every page. Reading it slowly.
Firstly, wallpaper* inc. is based in the UK.. but for this issue, the editor and his entire team temporarily shifted their office to Beijing and Shanghai, China. I guess it is to better facilitate gathering of resources and etc. That to me, shifting your entire office, temporarily, is so cool! Change is cool!
2ndly, it covers every inch of design. From retail, to chic hotels, to fashion. And it's all about China let-me-remind-you. This is one of the things that just makes me smile.
3rdly, I'm proud and blessed to say that I've been to some of these places the mag reviewd. I thought it was just so heartwarming to know you have the same photo of thiers in your album somewhere. Also, to just say quietly in your heart.. "I've been there before!" And you wanna show/bring that someone there. - Paper
