Ah! after Church, after the rain, after i got home, i picked up my bike and went out on a reconnaissance mission... to follow the canal that flows from the reservoir.. Known as the Kallang 'river'.
After all the overhead and traffic-light crossings, i end up at a strech along Whampoa! And such a beautiful place it had turned into! Awesome! The dirty old canal has been turned into a river-like village.. so so cool.
this is where the canal meets.. a Y-junction and new housing developments taking shape, at the tip of the bank..
And look!! A fellow mat-rep spots me with the exact same bike! Only his is 'zhing-ed'. Nice tubes, Uber cool brakes. Nice guy! and this was the highlight of the day! We love this Scott Sub30.
ooO! The tarmac that leads into the garage area.. F1 time!! =)) Grandstands line the empty track.. Coolness.. Only a bicycle can bring you places your legs and car cant.. ehhBA!
